How can we grow beyond our old world view,
unmoving globe surrounded by crystal shells
where God the Craftsman patterns ideal forms
to mold material flowing from star fountains
which causes effects of events to happen
according to destiny of his plan?
Men crowned themselves kings with gold crowns of gems
by claiming God appointed them to rule
so they controlled peasants working in fields
according to Psalm Twenty-Three of David
that kings are shepherds who protect their flocks
who obey all his commands without question.
Once Galileo looked through the telescope
and saw that stars are distant giant suns
and the Earth moves spinning around the sun
that world view of Aristotle and Plato
shattered into heresy of real truth,
so we measure to design new world view.
We measure to determine qualities
that define existing material things,
and express laws that predict how things happen,
so we can comprehend essential nature
that constitutes elements of real objects
and how they change in process of their growth.
The universe is formed of minute atoms
linking three quarks into pulsing triangles
which sparkle protons, neutrons, and electrons
clumping together in rich elements
to constitute minerals of vibrant globes
where organic creatures of carbon thrive.
Millions of people worship men as gods,
believing Jesus manifests in flesh
the Craftsman to show people how to live
by treating others with loving compassion,
and will return to resurrect the dead
and transform Earth into lush paradise.
Yet Jesus was no more than mortal man
whose descendants established dynasties
of warrior kings and priests to rule rich lands
by organizing peasants into kingdoms
so they feast well in secure castle towers
while slaves work to feed haughty sons of Christ.
We should abolish monarchies of rulers
and maintain elective democracies
where each individual can exercise
choice through free will to pursue happiness
by living as they will, if they hurt none,
while supporting their whole community.
Through every day we progress in our growth
to interact with people on the land
through transactions exchanging services
in commercial competition where goods
increase wealth of those who work to create,
so everyone wins when we feast as friends.
We mold the dirt of the Earth with our hands,
manipulating matter to create
food, tools, vehicles, homes, machines, and toys
so we transform the minerals of our world
into global structure of man-made shapes,
because we are the Craftsman we admire,
since Man embodies the Creator God.
How can we design vibrant world view,
spinning globe composed of vibrating atoms
that transform through chemical interactions
into organic creatures who can talk
and organize themselves into societies
who work together in communal roles?
I walk among you Prophet of the Atom,
and preach evolution of fish to Man,
so we work together to produce food
and feast in temple of friendship to share
stories of our survival in the world,
and praise our heroes who teach us the truth.
