Driving from one big city to another,
the banker stops his car by fields of wheat,
and gazes at the farmer on their tractor
as white clouds glitter in the clear blue sky.

The sturdy base of all civilization
is the farmers producing crops in lush fields,
toiling in sun and rain to plow rich soil,
sow seeds, water roots, and harvest results.

We erect on strong agriculture base
the complex infrastructure of society,
but if the farmers fail to produce crops
our whole system will collapse into chaos.

The capitalist with money to spend
invests in productive process of farms
to ensure farmers keep producing crops,
which maintains constant production of food.

The socialist with populace to feed
distributes food to every living person
who works to maintain our civilization
so everyone contributes to our glory.

The capitalist funds production of food
while the socialist distributes that food
so every person in society eats
and creates the beauty of our great nation.

We balance motivation for hard work
based on selfish desire to gain more wealth
with honest compassion of charity
to ensure everyone has food to eat.

Stepping back in his car, the banker drives
golden highway from sea to shining sea,
dedicated to managing rich funds
that nourish people of America.
