To symbolize abuse I have endured
and how I kept silent from numbing fear
that no one will believe my shocking tale
I will blank out this masking face I wear
to show how you erase from your world view
this brutal experience I try to hide.

Since you cannot control my private will
you try to blank my face with blind contempt
but I am always here in flesh and blood
though you tried to destroy me with your fist
because you desire me to satisfy
those aching needs of yours that rule your mind.

My face multiplies in millions of faces
so we surround you everywhere you go,
every woman breathing spirit of love
with eyes that can see through mask of your soul
for we can see the weakness of your fear
that you hide behind your macho facade.

I blank my face to reveal to the world
harsh suffering I endured under your fist,
so when I tear off blank mask of my fear
my real face will blaze with enduring light
of justice and liberty for all souls
as we reclaim the joy of our own lives.
