The shrieking eagle of dictatorship
descends with talons to rip out our hearts
so we defend our liberty to live
according to dictates of our own conscience
in battle to determine holy fate
with spirit of democracy for truth.

The hawk of fascism with eyes blazing hate
who declares superiority of his race
attacks the face of Goddess Liberty
where she stands with the book of honest laws,
so she waves Torch of Freedom to defend
rights of every person to equal justice.

The bear of tyranny with claws of greed
tears at sacred soul of democracy
when wily thieves disguised as politicians
wear mask of Christian faith to fool the voters,
then buy and sell souls of Americans
to pilfer wealth from taxes we must pay.

The lion of justice roars with bold courage
to battle tyrants who seek to control
minds and bodies of people for their gain,
supporting every democratic process
that gives strength to each individual person
when we cooperate for communal growth.

When every individual wakes from dream
to perceive those evil forces of greed
that seek to exploit our labor for wealth
by suppressing our rights to equal justice,
we unite separate purpose of our hopes
to defend each other from greedy tyrants.

Divided we fall to forces of greed
and slave from ignorance in factories,
but united we rise with mutual will
to fight for justice of the common good
and work from wisdom in strong companies
that create good for all communities.

We lead our children on the path of justice,
teaching them with example of our lives
to treat every human being with respect
as we cooperate for communal growth
for we all live together on this world,
united with love for humanity.
