When piercing cry of heart-broken lament 
rings out across the crowd of silent mourners 
the White Butterfly of Heaven descends 
to land on hand of the mother who lost 
her charming child to terrorist attack 
in civil wars men fight to control wealth. 

When men fight over who maintains the land 
in brutal wars their gods urge them to wage 
women and children, who play among trees 
that blossom on lush river shore of hope, 
suffer the most from the bullets and bombs 
that blast Garden of Eden into Hell. 

In wars men fight over who rules the world 
the good leader wins with morality 
while the cruel leader wins with brute force, 
but the winner of the contest for power 
learns that both moral law and police force 
are needed for governance of the state. 

In every nation all around the Earth 
for ten thousand years men contest for power 
to found empires where they worship the man 
who leads them from Hell to take Paradise 
as God whose moral law looms in the sky 
through mandate of fate driven by free will. 

The Hidden Dragon in the heart of man 
that speaks with voice of the common people 
wins loyal confidence of geniuses 
who obey grand vision his mind designs 
through strategy of confident compassion 
to organize institute of the state. 

Yet when giants David and Goliath 
fight over who wields the Scepter of Wisdom, 
countless innocent people of the land, 
who share common ancestors of the past, 
are maimed and killed in terrifying battles 
that leave them traumatized in state of shock. 

Goddess Liberty walks with Sword of Justice 
among rubble in stark bomb-blasted streets, 
gathering crippled children to her heart, 
but their broken bodies and missing eyes 
cannot be healed by gentle hands of care 
once they are mangled by exploding rage. 

When wily Odysseus with clever ploys 
defeats mad Achilles to rule the world, 
honest law of his sharp sword will enforce 
peace for craft and commercial enterprise 
maintained by trust in one common world view 
safe within United Nations of Earth.
