Code Of The Golden Bough © Surazeus 2025 01 11 "In primitive societies of humans disasters were blamed on the ruling man who was sacrificed on the Tree of Faith because he failed to fertilize the land with the holy blood of self-sacrifice and tried instead to increase his own power." Professor Albert Gordon in tweed suit strides before huge crowd in the lecture hall, lecturing on Code of the Golden Bough, how leaders chosen by common acclaim were killed if they abused official power as sacrifice to fertilize the land. "The boss is person who sits in the cart pulled by the workers as he shouts commands. The leader is the person out in front helping the workers pull the cart along. Be the leader who guides the workers forth, and not the boss who but exploits their strength." Baseball team captain Freddy Bickerson wearing red cap storms down the aisle in rage. "How dare you criticize our president for he is our great visionary boss who will make America great again." He shoves the professor against the wall. "Dictators always impose martial law, enforcing rules according to their whims, because they are weak, stupid, and afraid, and they offer simple beautiful lies to fool their followers with fantasies by tricking them to think they are abused." Freddy growls, "So you are calling me stupid!" Four boys rush forward with noble intent to protect the calm professor from harm, grabbing arms of the attacker with courage, and Mike puts him in chokehold with firm grip, dragging him back and down onto the floor. Professor Gordon straightens up his suit. "When did I ever mention any names? I described the personality traits of evil dictators chained by their greed, yet you are the one with fanatic hate who sees those traits in your beloved leader." "Though dictators and tyrants appear strong as they loudly proclaim deceptive lies, the force required to maintain reign of terror exhausts its rancid fuel of bitter hate, so their regimes always quickly collapse." Police arrest Freddy while students cheer.

Orpheus attends banquet by King Midas to celebrate his victory, and sings about how tyrants are sacrificed by their people, but everyone is too drunk to hear the moral.
