Brushed By The Angel Wing © Surazeus 2025 01 19 "Because air makes up the sky of the world we are always walking high in the sky," Carol explains to the girl with no eyes, so together they breathe in the cool air, till they are dizzy with beauty of being, and their hearts are brushed by the angel wing. "Because we are breathing air in our lungs the sky is now inside our body frames," Sarah grins and reaches out her shy hand to touch the vital being of her best friend who tries not to cry at warmth of her heart, but laughs because she cannot see her face. "So because the air is invisible our souls glow with the ever-flashing light sent by the sun in beams of energy," Carol whispers into soft wisps of hair as she embraces Sarah in safe arms, "but I can feel the warm glow of your soul." "Though the air is no more invisible to me than anything else in the world, still I feel warm spirit of each thing pulsing with vibrant energy of light," Sarah chuckles and wiggles in her arms, poking her twin sister with loving finger. "The bright light of the sun is visible and causes my eyes to see everything, each object bound in limits of its being which exists finite in both time and space, " Carol tries not to weep as she observes blinking lines on the health monitor fade. "The bright light of the sun is tangible as sweet love you emanate from your being, warming my heart as I sink in the cold," Sarah mumbles and grips more tightly soft arm of her sister she can hardly feel as she slowly twirls dizzily nowhere. "Though you could never see mask of my face I know your face better than anyone, for you are mirror of my aching heart, and without you I cannot see myself," Carol sobs, tightly clutching her twin sister as the green line of her life flickers flat. Sarah floats away on the silent sea, no longer breathing passion of the sky, no longer glowing in beams of the sun, then disappears from every photograph to vanish in the nothingness of death, though atoms of her body still vibrate.

Orpheus hugs Carol at the funeral of her twin sister Sarah, then listens as she tells stories about her clever sense of humor.
