The greatest obstacle to happiness, 
confounding process of the Supersoul, 
is desire we humans set as our goal 
because it binds us with our pettiness, 
and keeps us trapped on narrow road of fear, 
blind to beauty of what we cannot hear. 

Confined by expectations we design 
to fuel our journey toward happy success, 
we rush so quickly forward that we miss 
fruit in the Tree of Knowledge where no sign 
indicates treasures free for us to take, 
so we miss the Real while grasping the Fake. 

How true that routines we strictly conserved 
nurtured growth in work for our basic needs, 
but blindly following old methods leads 
our paths away from where we should have swerved, 
so now we wander lost in paradise, 
mistaking subtle virtue for grim vice. 

Extending scope of possible outcomes 
beyond tight narrow bounds our hearts perceive, 
we expand vision for truth we conceive 
when we imagine particles through sums 
that aid construction we employ to build 
solid foundation for creative guild. 

If we conform too closely to old codes, 
expecting success where play often fails, 
we must untwist our progress-catching sails 
to readjust our journey on sea-roads 
so we can still maintain our sacred quest 
in search for lands that unpuzzle the best. 

Break free from rigid conventions of play 
that lead to noble success in the past, 
because social changes occur too fast 
for everyone to grow who likes to stay 
secure in how the way things used to be 
based on rules that forge pattern of the key. 

Unlocking doors of opportunity, 
we work together with conceptual facts 
within guidelines provided by contracts 
to manage functions of society 
that mode justice through liberty for all, 
though hope for wealth keeps too many in thrall. 

We remove obstacle to happiness 
when we release desire for what we want 
to explore while remaining nonchalant, 
for all will cross Bridge of Forgetfulness 
and jump into Whirlpool of the God Eye 
after loving well while still asking why.
