In this universe of chaotic order
where no manipulating god exists
we are coagulated globs of atoms
who consume other globs for energy
then copulate to merge transforming souls
and attain eternal life through rebirth.
With endless generations of new bodies
we transform shape when sperm penetrates egg
and two individual strands of genes split
then spiral around each other in coils
to replicate themselves in two new bodies
who multiply and fill sun-sparkling ocean
with watching eyes that swim in waves of dreams
and attain eternal life through rebirth.
