Treasure Of The World © Surazeus 2024 11 06 Driving time-dilating car of my life on the narrow rain-wet road of desire, I follow lights of ever-shifting stars past ruins of empires and social dreams, then walk in spider-tangled field of hope to find the secret treasure of the world. Defeated in conceptual game of chance by the grand liar and the brazen thief, I turn away from madness of despair to place my bleeding heart on stone of faith where I exult in knowing secret truth concealed in brave shadow of unknown myth. Now old and gray and full of curious rage, I dance around bonfire of vanities while I dip raven quill in martyr blood and write star-patterned spell of ardent hope to document events that break the heart which brews new healing potion from our tears. Caught up in revolution of the mind which transforms how we interact with hope, I analyze state of cause and effect to choose right action of generous love that will create good, rather than destroy, so I live with joy in the time I have. Alone with just the trees in lonely rain that falls from glass mask of the timeless clock, I seek to feel divinity through wind that swirls around me with fantastic joy which lifts my spirit from abyss of faith where I fall wingless in the pool of loss. Attempting to grasp solid thoughts of fear which slip away as slithery as the snake, I cast illusions of faith and hope away to clear perceptive focus of my eyes so I attend to the tangibly real embodied in fruit I can share with you. Together we sit close on the pool shore, both facing each other as we discuss perceptions of our eyes to analyze facts of truth we can agree are more real, not like Narcissus entranced by his face, nor Echo talking to herself alone. Companions in the car of eager trust, we choose to stay together on the path we hope will lead us to the Promised Land where we can build secure home of our hearts to raise our children free from hate or greed, preserving secret treasure of the world.
