So I would like to hallucinate God 
and argue with Her about Good and Evil 
personified as Godin and Evilla 
who fall in love in the Garden of Eden, 
and through their passionate trust and respect 
populate the whole Earth with Calibans. 

I wake from dream to hallucinate God 
as monstrous beast that lurks in human hearts 
set free from gold cage of morality 
by harsh humiliation of abuse 
as angel of compassion metamorphs 
in cruel dictator terrified of death. 

I write weird book to hallucinate God 
as old bearded man clutching sword of death 
who looms enormous as black thunder cloud 
and hurls aggressive spears of lightning bolts 
to smash illusions of the Narcissist 
whose faith is fractured into fantasy. 

I devise plan to hallucinate God 
as silver-eyed wolf of the mountain vale 
who races with me on conceptual wings 
along the winding river of desire, 
exploring mystery of the human mind 
embodied by the demon with sharp teeth. 

Still unable to hallucinate God 
by cracking mirror of the cosmic eye 
that spirals out from black hole of soul light, 
I wear mask of Zeus on Halloween night 
to play role of judge over right and wrong 
by deciding who gets to live or die. 

Programmed by faith to hallucinate God, 
I incarnate my soul as Jesus Christus 
who sacrifices his life in punishment 
to save his people from harsh slavery 
when he defeats the tyrant in the tower 
that cracks and falls at lightning strike of truth. 

I sing dream spells to hallucinate God 
as Aslan, spirit of the Holy Land, 
who reigns in temple of the vatic seer, 
assigned to prophesy heroic deeds 
of wise messiah who appears on Earth 
every eighty years to rebuild the world. 

Since I will never hallucinate God 
as more than my face in mirror of hope, 
I map whole history of humanity 
on time-animated atlas of Earth 
so we can study progress we advance 
uniting nations of Earth in one faith.
