When half-moon shimmers in the silver sky 
where people wander hungry in the maze, 
young wolf-witch climbs the lonely mountain peak 
to gaze with love on the drought-stricken world, 
then stabs obsidian knife into her heart 
so her fertile blood soaks the world with rain. 

Why must our nation of fear-stricken souls, 
her mother cries out to the half-moon ghost, 
require brave self-sacrifice through selfless love 
of that pure soul who loves without constraint, 
then weeps as she holds daughter in her arms 
whose eyes glow with immortal light of stars. 

The individual body with bright soul, 
unique to psychic vision of its brain, 
cannot be resurrected from the dead, 
for spirits vanish when their bodies cease 
to function through their chemical concept, 
and dissipate to swirls of mindless dust. 

Yet story of her noble sacrifice 
to save her people from frantic despair 
inspires each person to transcend their pain 
and work together in grand harmony 
constructing social system based on laws 
that enforce equality through respect. 

Bright blood that flows from pulsing of her heart 
soaks in hard sunbaked soil of cracked despair 
to fertilize telic purpose of seeds 
that sprout from their efficient cause of being, 
transforming ideas into final forms 
inherent in prime structure of their fate. 

Explanatory factor of our being 
guides how we grow from spark of urgent hope 
when we build factories to produce goods 
that form global food-production machine 
designed to capitalize strict fabrication 
then socialize uniform distribution. 

Emerging from tomb of humanity 
with hunger-fashioned wings of ardent faith, 
Minerva rises from brave sacrifice 
in war against cruel kings of tyranny 
to free all peoples of our spinning globe 
who compose United Nations of Earth. 

Through heart-inspiring vow of loyalty, 
people, focused on world democracy, 
consolidate fractured religious states 
in global faith endorsing Liberty 
designed by Ishtar, mother of all faiths, 
to focus our hearts on progress of love.
