Beach Of Your Thoughts © Surazeus 2024 10 09 I cannot feel sharp arrow of true love piercing television screen of my heart so glass eye of my brain cracks fragile words that fall in shards of psychic butterflies who sing in harmony with ocean waves where I wander on the beach of your thoughts. Because I am willing to die for you by shielding your heart from arrow of hate, Venus rewards me with immortal life as ghost who haunts descendants of our blood three thousand years as empires rise and fall while I linger on the beach of your thoughts. Each generation of our children think I am Guardian Angel that Heaven sent to guide their journey to the Promised Land because I lead them from the danger zone to travel ever westward with the sun though I drift lost on the beach of your thoughts. These fragments of my scattered memories swirl around my spirit as autumn leaves on which I write strange stories of their lives as each new generation of our souls sprouts on Tree of Life, then drifts to the sea where I dance sad on the beach of your thoughts. Though we first meet in lush Almaty hills, filling baskets with apples of new faith, then ride together on horse of the wind to conquer the world sea to shining sea, I wander alone through Zarathian woods to search for you on the beach of your thoughts. While driving to work at the factory where I assemble television sets, I hear your clear voice on the radio wail with eerie spirit of Mercury to express longing for the love we lost, so I lament on the beach of your thoughts. We almost meet in vast library hall, browsing ancient leather-bound books of tales, but ache of sorrow in my wingless heart makes me hide in cold shadow of despair, and you return to your art studio while I sit mute on the beach of your thoughts. As nine-tailed fairy fox of Avalon I love you with sacred light of the moon, for though we both died millennia ago we live in countless children of our genes who see each other in bright eyes we share when we gather on the beach of your thoughts.

Orpheus pauses in the Bodleian Library as he senses electric presence of Eurydice in the shadows of old books, then signs and returns to his search.
